To the west of the city is Puget Sound, where sailors, kayakers, scuba divers, jet skiers, and anglers practice their sports. Farther west the Olympic Mountains beckon adventure-seeking souls to still more sweat-inducing activity amid scenic wilderness.

Spectator sports are also appreciated here. To see how excited Seattle citizens can get about crew racing, stop by the Montlake Cut on the official opening day of the unofficial boating season. The University of Washington (UW) has been a rowing powerhouse since the 1930s, and tickets to Husky football games have been hot items for years. Attendance at Mariners games is at an all-time high, and the Seahawks are gaining steam as well.

We believe that a clean, simple directory of adventure guides and outfitters is needed in our mix; one without banner advertisement and heavy graphics, one that provides some information about a business in a simple, text format. Search-based on "Topic and Trip" data brings the interested individual to the trip they want faster... Providing individuals with an simple, yet powerful searching method.

We also felt that there needed to be somewhere for listings for the smaller businesses that operate with a limited marketing budget.
